Restaurant branding and signage for Chatterbox & Central Creamery.

 

Chatterbox & Central Creamery

Restaurant branding and signage for the revival of the historic Chatterbox restaurant in Ocean City, New Jersey, including Central Creamery, an ice cream parlor style station located within the restaurant. Renderings of signage for the interior, logo and signage exploration, promo concepts and the final custom neon Chatterbox sign and Central Creamery sign that hangs on the exterior today. The rebranding captures the distinct style of the original and takes it to the modern day.

Inspired by the restaurant itself as well as where it is located, the branding exploration is a modern take on New Jersey boardwalk signs, seen on the final neon sign that hangs on the exterior today and a 3D rendering of an interior sign in the restaurant.

Taking cues from vintage ice cream parlors, the signage making process includes signage explorations and 3D renderings resulting in the final signage that is installed on the exterior of the new Chatterbox restaurant. Also included are branding applications on promotional content and signage on the Central Creamery chalkboard.
